Selection

Our selection includes about 1200 products including fresh, semi-mature, Italian and European cheeses and cured meats. This has been made possible thanks to historical producers and new realities that for seriousness, innovation, image and warranty collaborate with our company.

Knowledge starts from the evaluation of the raw material and from a careful attention in the processing of products. Then they are checked at each arrival to ensure the quality, freshness and the right seasoning.

OUR HISTORY

Our story began in the late 1930s thanks to Luigi and Federico Mantegazza in Caidate di Sumirago, province of Varese. Thanks to the latter, a dairy was inaugurated for the local sale of typical dairy products.

Customers grew progressively and in 1955 a warehouse was opened in Varese for the marketing and import of cheeses, abandoning the processing of milk. Among the first cheeses purchased there was Gorgonzola, Grana Padano, Taleggio and Swiss cheeses, preferred by Luigi, in charge of purchases.

In the '60s Luigi joined to the management of the company his sons Dante and Alberto and in 1985 the warehouse was moved to Lozza (VA) in a new space of 2400 square meters, used as cold rooms, rooms for seasoning and a department for the packaging and cutting of cheeses. The company was ready for the new market needs to meet every demand with the intention of improving itself in the following years.

In 2015, the company expanded by opening new spaces for packaging and maturing products. 15 become refrigerated cells for an area of over 1100 square meters, the laboratory is refurbished with the installation of machinery of the latest generation.

Today, thanks to the entry of the third generation represented by Niccolò and Andrea Mantegazza and a dynamic team of agents we reach various stores throughout Italy and Europe with timely services, always ready to meet all the requests and needs of our customers.

PORTIONING: Packaging center for cheeses portioned of any type or special requests. STORAGE: 15 refrigerated cells of all temperatures and humidity. TRANSPORT: Six vehicles for deliveries in the surrounding areas: for other destinations we use specialist cold couriers. TRACEABILITY: New traceability program.
