Raw cow’s milk cheese, the name comes from the river Emme, within the canton of Bern. Here, in a place surrounded by pastures and local herbs comes the emmentaler PDO. The product is characterized by a golden yellow rind and a soft ivory colour texture with the typical holes. The flavour is sweet and delicate. The aging is minimum 120 days. Product available in two versions: SELECTION: seasoning 8/10 months (Code: 18) and GROTTA: seasoning +12 months (Code: 3518).
