Sicilian cheese made from pasteurised sheep’s milk. The product has a striped rind given by the striations of the reeds baskets where the forming takes place. The texture is compact with a straw-yellow colour. The cheese is slightly spicy which is given by the addition of saffron and black pepper during the making process.
